Hello,
I'm looking to choose between the XBA C10(~$50), or the Etykids 5 ($34). I have some pretty bass oriented 'phones (V-Moda M100, M80, Klipsch S4, Brainwavz R1, Sony MDR-E 818 LP), but I'm looking for something that's more crisp/lush, with a nice large soundstage for (mainly classical music for studying and relaxing).
I don't have an dedicated amp as of right now.
Could anybody make a recommendation which to get? Or an alternative IEM suggestion?
I'd like to keep it under $100, cheapr the better since it won't be my main 'phone.
Thanks!

Hello,

There's really no IEM that offer the spacious open soundstage of full size headphone (specially open). The XBA-1 do have some pretty good soundstage but in all honesty, their soundstage is still not as good as full size headphone.

You can look into;
Sennheiser HD439 for wide soundstage yet closed design

Hope it helps!
Billson :)

Not much experience with IEM, have only tested no more than ten IEM and of all, that is within your budget with widest soundstage from my experience would be XBA-1. However, there's is the new XBA-10 and XBA-H1 :)
