Hello
Does anybody know what kind of ssd do work with the X5 ?
I bought a Crucial M500, which has a size of 480 GB, and I'm very disappointed to see that it doesn't work with the X5.
The X5 sees that it is connected to a USB thing, but it says "usb storage removed" (though I didn't remove anything...!).
And the lights of the drive blink, but only a few seconds.
Is there something to do, or have I to wait for some future firmware update from FIIO ?
Thanks
.

My best guess and 2 cents.

I would assume that what ever source you use to connect to the FiiO X5 has to actively feed the digital audio signal thru the USB port, to the X5.
I would assume the X5 does not come with a built in drive controller so as to actively request files off a storage device (SSD).

This woould help me, since I don't manage to recognize my Crucial M500 (480 GB)
Thanks.
