Hello,

Got my X3 2nd gen and it doesn't shutdown when "idle poweroff" is enabled.
The timer is set to 1 min, I pause the song but nothing happens after 1 min.

Any advice ?

Hello bert,

What is the screen saver timer set to?

The "Idle poweroff" option is a misnomer. It's actually "Idle standby" (will be renamed to this in the next firmware). If the player is sitting with its screen off and no music playing, it's essentially in the same state as idle standby. It can last for days in this state without any noticeable battery drain and can power on again in an instant, ready to play your music.

If you want to turn off the X3 2nd gen completely, please do so by manually holding the power button while the screen is on.

Best regards,
Joe

Hello Joe,

Thank you for the clarification, I thought X3 2nd worked like X3 1st (which had complete poweroff).

I played around with the options, and realized that if the screen timer is greater than the poweroff timer (or set to "ON"), the screen goes off (and I can hear a "click") when the poweroff timer expires.

Keep up the good work
