I want to know how powerful my amp is in terms of specs. Usually i hear people saying for example 5 W into 16 ohm. Now i'm guessing that the higher W the more power. But what's with the Ohm? Does a lower value increase or decrease the amps power there. Why is there not always the same ohm value to make it easier to compare the amps?
Is there a possibility of combining those two values into one with for example multiplication? If yes can anyone list a few standard values to categorize? Like low power, medium power, high power etc. Or is there a list with how much the different headphones need starting with Grados and ending with HE-6 for example?
