The title is the setup I use with either the Stax Lambra or the newly bought Denons for single player gaming. The Stax were great except for the open design which my wife hated hence the closed Denons. I'm looking for a better solid state amp than the T' Red in the $500 to $800 price range. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

I'm thinking about getting a HeadAmp GS-1 or the Gilmore Lite if I find the 8 week wait too much to bare. Any other suggestions or am I completely on my own for this?

Decided to do it myself and start with a kit of a MiniMax. Should be fun to do in the winter months and if all goes well with this one later on try the more advance designs.
