What are my options for getting SPDIF out of a x-fi without buying anything(all DIY).

What is the pinout for the breakout box? I could just solder some wires from that to an RCA jack.

There's a jack on the card edge with all the other mini jacks. Enable Digital I/O in the panel and you should be good to go.
