Well ive had my x-fi music hooked up for a few months now and over the past month or 2 ive had to incidents where the card makes a very loud popping noise. Its a short little squel followed by a quick loud pop and it seems to almost have a sorys of metallic echo to it.
Its happened twice and i didnt think much off it as it didn't affect what i was doing at the time but recently i have noticed my right channel being quiter then my left. I my 595's out on my ipod and if there is any difference in the channels it seems to be weaker then from my x-fi.
What could that popping have been and could it be whats affecting my right channel as well?
As it stands i think ill try and take the x-fi in and get a replacement before i send my sennys in.
any insight to this situation here or similar problems with x-fi's?
