What are the best settings for gaming in the x-fi xtremegamer soundcard? I play cod4 and its really critical to hear the enemy before he hears you. Does turning eax, cmss-3d, crystalizer on off help?

I have CMSS-3D on, EAX on and Crystalizer set at 60%.

CMSS-3D really helps with the positioning of other players, EAX adds all the enviromental effects and the Crystalizer adds a bit of extra crispness that CMSS-3D takes away.

These settings work best for me in Game Mode but for music I use Audio Creation with bit-matched playback at 44.1 Khz.

I also mute all channels, inputs and outputs that I don't use in the volume panel.
