Ok, a 600 will run well through a X-Fi Fatal1ty amped with a go-vibe right?

Your sig says 555 and 595. Those don't take as much juice as a 600, do they?

You're right about that. However Norman will specifically adjust the gain on your go-vibe to suit the 600s needs, if you ask him.

Not NEARLY as much.

Will such a setup be able to drive the 600s? Yes. Will it get their full potential? It won't even scratch it.

I dunno. Won't you need more than just a change in gain to run the 600s properly?

To date, the folks with HD580/600 who have posted the most satisfaction with their Go-Vibes are those who've had the AD8620 opamp in them. Even with other small amp architectures, like the Mint, the AD8620 opamp inside seems to be associated with the notably positive posts about the performance of those amps with the HD580/600. I've seen posts from several Head-Fiers with ears I trust who've found the OPA2227 to leave them flat with these phones.

Exactamundo. You're paying for top notch cans, and you should definitely get the gear to back them up so they can offer a decent percentage of their potential.
