Headphoneus Supremus
While I was bouncing around Peterborough (Ontario), I walked into their local AV shop. They had the following DAC on the back shelves: WyreStorm EXP-CON-DAC-D . I haven't seen it discussed on this site (there was a thread about HDMI converters using Wyre components).
Does anybody have an opinion about it? When my Turtle Beach DSS2 eventually conks out, I'll want to replace it (I have an XBox1 >>>> TOSlink >>>> DSS2 >>>> headphones). I like the virtual surround sound effect my DSS2 produces for me & I understand that this WyreStorm won't decode for it. I've attached the WyreStorm's spec sheet to this posting. Do you see any red-flags?
