at least you guys have the HE60. Im having great difficulty finding one for what I consider a reasonable price.

I'll take your HE60 then you wouldn't have to worry about the connector issue.

Anyone ever brought one of these, if so where did you get them from, and if you know are they still available?

Thanks for your time.

Jim

Hi Jim,

Eric (eric343) made up a HE60 to Stax adapter for me -- and he should be building a HE60 to HEV90 adapter after the summer.

I'd suggest sending him a PM.

Where about in the UK are you?

I've been in touch with Eric343.. He could make some adapters to fit the HE60 plug.. the most important part of the HE60->Stax adapter. They are expensive to build singularly, but the costs come down to being more reasonable the more people are interested in buying one.

So, i'm interested and definitely need the HE60 jack, anyone else want to join in on this "mini-group buy" to bring the costs into line. Once we've got these jacks, we'll still need to butcher a stax extension lead of sorts to make the final adapter. I'll try and find the links to these, but i'm sure i've seen shorter (and more importantly cheaper) extension leads than the lengths that audiocubes do for $100.

Time is of the essence for this, as Eric will soon be busy so if you could make your interest known in this thread ASAP that would be great.

Jatinder, i'm near Derby/Nottingham.. I thought i'd got that set in my details.. time to update them anyways, will do that later.

You can get some from Drew @ moon-audio.com for a very decent price.

Thanks canman, i'd forgotten to add your suggestion.. I've not contacted Singlepower just yet, in PMs we were talking about the quality of your adapter.. ie. DIY looking or more purchased product looking.

I've found the thread that i was thinking of, its here

http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showt...0+stax+adapter

I'll link to the two pictures gloco put up on there as they're very relevant.
