Hello guys/ladies,

I have a linear recorder Sony Pcm-d50. I use it as a digital source feeding optical SPDIF date to my Hugo.

When data (ie wav. files) are imported from the computer, the recorder creates on its own for each imported file a corresponding corrupted file.
This corrupted file, as I have checked, does not occupy much disk space, and obviously is not capable of a playback.

So I am asking if there's anyone experienced in vintage portable source units with flash drive, and had experienced a similar problem.

L.T.

I went looking for any firmware updates, and I came across this driver download. It may be worth a try to see if it stops the corrupted files from being transferred.

Thanks for trying to help:beerchug: Im already using Mac as the computer so I do not need a driver.
I was thinking that this problem should be a fault in the NAND chip or memory or something.
Anyone with experience with old flash drive devices?
