...at least in OS X. I got the OS X "Play" music player program a couple of weeks ago, but just tried it....I used some AIFF and some Apple Lossless files in it, and it sounds noticeably better, especially in the highs, than iTunes with the same lossless tracks. It's about the same difference of going from 256K AAC to Apple Lossless in iTunes sounded, but this goes that amount of improvement over iTunes....I am shocked, that 2 different players could sound so different.
