Create a .wav file containing silence (e.g. 1 second) and 1 single click (1 sample with value +32767) in the middle of it, using a wave editor. Play back this file in WMP with the DSP enabled and use something like total recorder to record the output. Now open it with a wave editor and remove silence in the beginning and the end. The result is an impulse response of the DSP that can be used e.g. with foobar2000's convolver DSP.
Yeah that Wow thing is horrible. Newer versions of BSPlayer supports winamp2 dsp's, plus it's a more compatible player all around than wmp. And it's not ms. Give that a shot if you really want an eq for a movie player (one would hope you're not using wmp for music...). Enhancer.17 works well with winamp, cant say how it sounds with movies. Should go well considering all the ambience presets it has.
