Hi,
I need a new power supply for my PPA v1.1, would a a.c. adapter from a fax machine be OK?

the specs are:

Input 240v - 50-60Hz 0.5A
Output 24v - 1.5A

Did you read the Power Supply Selection?

Many wall warts will put out considerably more than their rated voltage when lightly loaded.

If it is AC-DC, then yes. Measure what will it output unloaded. If it is under 30V then you can use it. It is however 1.5A so it will propably go near or over that 30V...

Its an AC-DC supply, output voltage unloaded is 24.61v
it was the fact that it was rated at 1.5amp I was worried about.
