Would this hurt the sound quality much?

Hi folks;

I use a Gungnir MB Dac for both my headphone and speaker systems.  The GMB only has one set of balanced outputs so I have to swap between connecting the headphone amp and my stereo pre amp. Blue Jeans Cable makes a balanced cable y splitter. I quote from their website.

"For those who need to split or combine balanced signals (e.g., for bi-amp systems), we offer Y-splitter cables made with Belden 1508A, a miniature balanced audio cable. These can either be used for a full-length run or can be made up as short adapters (one foot long) which can then be attached to longer full-size balanced runs."

Would a one foot splitter compromise the sound a lot? If so, suggestions please. Thanks in advance.

Both inputs are balanced. I could use the GMB's single ended outputs for 1, but prefer balanced.
