Hello!

I just ordered some Sennheiser HD25-1 II and think about to paint them with a white waterproof pen. So I don't want to cover them completely with paint, just decorate them with some small symbols or "pictures".
Has anybody done this to his headphones and do you know what Sennheiser or the dealer would say in case I would have to make use of the warranty?
Thank you!

Regards,
Jonas

i would think any modification either cosmetically or internal would void your warranty.

could be wrong tho

I would say doing that would 100% void your warranty, because they wouldn't know what else you modified, or modified, and then reversed. In short, they would be suspicious of you from the get-go.

Any alteration to the headphone be it cosmetic or internal will void most warranties sorry but look at it like this the paint wont break your headphones at least

Hi!

Thanks for your replies. Hm that doesn't sound to nice until now. Well, I will ask Sennheiser and the dealer. Maybe I should just wait until the warranty (3 years from the dealer!) is passed over.

Jonas, really curious about the HD25's sound...
