I'm wondering if the 3-button volume controls would work for the x10i if I use a FiiO E11 amp (otherwise I'll go with the x10). Also, any opinions on how well the E11 works with the x10 as far as improving sound quality (I've heard that there are hissing problems and synergy issues with the x10)? What settings work best on the E11 for the x10, and I'm assuming I'd need the FiiO L9 Line out dock to connect it to my iPod. Also, I saw this statement but not sure what it means "Using the line out (LOD) on an iPod, or the headphone out on a Sansa Clip+, you can’t drive the E11 to full output into high impedance headphones even at the high gain setting"
