Would a dedicated DAC be an upgrade from an audio interface?

My current setup involves using a Cakewalk UA-25EX audio interface as a DAC connected to my computer via USB, with RCA cables going to my Hifiman EF5 amp and then to my HE-4 headphones.

I was wondering if a dedicated DAC solution would provide any noticeable improvement in sound over my current multi-function audio interface. And also at which price point of DACs would I see this improvement?

Here's a link to the UA-25EX. http://www.cakewalk.com/products/hardware/default.aspx?Prod=UA-25EX

Thanks.

Hmmm...same question here. Many say the SQ from the CakeWalk unit is really good so could be interesting. Price is certainly attractive!
