So I have a Xonar STX and a pair of HD 555's. I am wondering if upgrading the STX with 3 Burson op amps is worth the rather high $270 price. That's even more than a brand new STX
 
I have heard very good things about the Burons, but I am wondering if I could use the money somewhere else, like a new amp. DAC, or headphones.
 
What do you guys think?

I would say spend $50 for LME49990 op-amps.
Spend the rest of the cash for better headphones.
