Worth adding a Schiit Eitr if I'm already using Toslink to my Mimby?

I posted this in another section, but realized it may be more appropriate here.

My current signal pathway is my mobo's (ASRock Taichi x370) optical Toslink output -> mimby -> Lyr 2. I've heard that PC toslink connections can be of questionable quality and they are in general susceptible to jitter. Although my mobo is pretty nice, I really have no way of knowing the quality of the optical output, or even if the jitter is causing any audible quality loss, as I have no real point of comparison. I've seen lots of people say that adding an Eitr helps the Mimby a lot, but this is mostly people who were running their Mimby via USB. I was curious if anyone had any experience comparing onboard optical audio vs USB via Eitr - specifically with the Mimby, or just in general. Will there be any appreciable increase in quality? The Eitr is pretty cheap, but obviously I don't want to spend the money if the difference will be completely imperceptible. Thanks!
