Lang Lang (Deutsche Grammophon) - Mendelssohn Piano Concerto No. 1, Daniel Barenboim and the Chicago Symphony

Very disjointed and uneven tempo IMO. Compare it to Rudolph Serkin's performance of the two Mendelssohn Piano Concertos with Eugene Ormandy conducting.

A second one ... Maurizio Pollini's playing of the 1st movement of the Brahms 2nd Piano Concerto, with Claudio Abbado conducting. I find his tempo very uneven in the 1st movement and would contrast it to the Rudolf Serkin/Eugene Ormandy performance.
