Worried... Is there THAT much difference between the Beyerdynamic DT-880 250 ohm and 600 ohm?

Hello,

I just recently scored a 250 ohm dt 880 for $210 on ebay, and was browsing the forums when I stumbled upon two or three forums. These forums were stating that the DT-880's were MUCH better in the 600 ohm variant, and the 250 ohm had comparatively recessed mids, which are the most important to me. Does anyone have experience with these two headphones? If there is one, what is the difference between the two? I will be driving these with an asus xonar essence STX.

I own the DT880 Pro 250-Ohm and DT880 Premium 600-Ohm and Essence STX.
The 600-Ohm is really only a little better then the 250-Ohm.
