I bought some Grey Goose based on commenst in this thread. Yep. It's good..
Early in the evening I'll drink Grey Goose, as the night wears on I'll normally switch over to Stolichnaya. I don't know whether I can taste the difference, but early in the night I do tend to care what I drink, but after a few I care less.
If I'm drinking red wine, I always start the night with the nice bottle.

So, educate me.
I'm not sure I have much real knowledge. I can say that Grey Goose has a less bitter aftertaste than many other Vodkas I have tried. Perhaps it is just a symptom of knowing the price - more expensive alcohol is all that much sweeter
Last post 2008, well let’s jump this topic into 2020 with what has to be The Best imho. Tito’s Handmade Triple Distilled made in the Good Old USA. Try this if you may.
I like to use a Stanley 16oz Ceramivac go series container - fill with ice - 3oz Tito’s Vodka - 1oz Kahlua - fill with your favorite coffee drink (Monster Kona, SB Frap, etc.) So So good. Enjoy!
Good Vodka should be as it was intended - odorless and tasteless - the perfect mixer. Russian style Vodka drinking is not my favorite pastime, maybe in college. Shots anyone?
That being said though Tito’s is a very refined and pleasing sippin Vodka.
Lol, just thought of that myself as per the edit. Sippin Vodka has never been my Russian experience. Maybe I only know Vodka slammin Russians. I have to admit I only have a handful of Russian friends and all of them break out the bottle with a shot glass. I also might add that glass is much larger than a shot also.
