World music and Jazz Fusion melange

The bass line on the first track of the second album, Wamono Groove, is the same as the track which starts, "voulez vuos coucher avec moi ce soir" 😀. Good album, I enjoyed listening to jazz funk, followed by oriental jazz fusion.

I thought they were Turkish but actually, they're Dutch.



From what I've read theuir founder is Dutch, but the lead male and female singers are Turkish. It so happens that music they do is the so-called Anatolian rock that had its golden years from the mid-60s until the 80s.

Palmiyeler is yet another band into the same Anatolian rock vibe:

I have to say I'm very unfamiliar with most of the music I've been posting here and have never heard it before. It's not a genre I'd normally listen to but I like to keep an open mind and explore different (alternative) genres, so to speak. I hope not to spam this thread.
