I noticed new albums added to my FiiO M3's 64GB mSD don't appear in their proper alphabetical place on the M3. In folder view, Art Blakey comes at the very end, after Yes. And newly added Paul Simon should come in under 'P' but instead comes between Bjork and Bob Dylan.
If I add an album to an artist folder I already have, such as if I add Blue Train to my already existing John Coltrane folder, then that's OK, because I organize my music into album sub-folders kept in artist folders. VBut if I add an album by a new artist, that ends up at some random place in the alphabet.
Any ideas what to do?
My thought is to format my 64 GB card again. Then to add all the music (kept on a folder in my Mac) back onto the card.
I've been using the freeware Sync Folders to mean I don't have to load everything onto the mSD card again every time I add a new album. However, it seems that after one reaches a certain file number, the FiiO stops listing new folders alphabetically.
Any help welcome! Especially want some advice before I delete everything (about 60GB) from my mSD card and then reload it.
