I noticed that when I set my Sennheisers down on the headphone stand that the edge of the headband cover rubbed the metal cross bar. Then I saw a post where someone had chipping on his 650's in the same spot. I started thinking, "How can I pad the hanger so it doesn't damage the finish on my headphones"? I wanted a solution that doesn't look like hell. I figured it out and wanted to share with people because the Woo stand is popular. The solution is to get about a foot (Buck a foot at pet store) of 5/8 inside diameter aquarium tubing. I cut it to length (Try to get it flush as much as you can) and slide the tubing over the hanger bar (It is tough, but it fits perfect). It looks nice and it seems to be soft enough to cushion the clearcoat on the Senn's when you put them back on the stand.

The tubing is clear and looks black in natural light, im not sure why it looks blue in the photos.

Nice mod.

Your flash is giving the blue color to the translucent tubing.
