Woo Audio WA6-SE vs. Decware Taboo mk3

Unless you actually need the power of the SE, just so you know, the general consensus is that the WA6 is simply better. For the sole reason that you can get a 6SN7/6F8G/6C8G adapter, and run those tubes. All are sonically superior, vastly superior, to 6DE7.

Its not, you can get adapters specifically for the 6se to use the tubes mentioned... 2359glenn makes them...

The Taboo MKIII handles the LCD3f with a warmer more lush mids I think than the WA6SE.  Though the WA6SE powers the hd800 with more dynamics.  However the MKIII and CSP2+ solves that issue.  But some like the hd800 without the preamp - it is polite sounding.
 
I never tried the WA6se with the 6sn7 adapters.

I'd probably go with the Taboo for the easy speaker-driving capability; I like having flexibility in case I ever find myself using components in ways I hadn't thought of when I bought them.
 
I love 6SN7s, but tube-rolling Decware amps usually is a much cheaper proposition. The stock input tube is a 6N1P, which is a dirt-cheap Russian equivalent to a 6922/6DJ8 and sounds pretty darned good for a "stock" tube. Outputs aren't too bad either, unless you get into the higher-end Bugle Boy varieties.

I think Steve mentioned you can use a 6sn7 on a taboo using an adapter.
