Woo Audio WA24 - 20th Anniversary Edition flagship Headphone Amplifier

Glad Woo took away the separate transformer and packed it into this new Washington 24...but I wished the could make a cheaper tube speaker amp. Thats one I would buy to add to my system. Dont want to fuss with making their current amps a pre-amp or spending one-blililililion dollars for their power amps

Gotta make my way down there one weekend and spend a bit more time with it! Initial impressions at Socal canjam were great but would love to test it out with different gear.

Has anyone heard how much it will cost to replace the tube quad?

That looks slightly different than the custom ones Woo is using, and I'm sure a MATCHED quad is needed.....so probably more $.

Looks the similar to me, minus the base is black. The brand and made in Korea logos are on there.

Probably just black base to match the aesthetics.

Hi Woo Audio fans,

FYI, via one of its dealers (The Music Room), Woo Audio, @WooAudio , is sending its new WA24 20th Anniversary Edition headamp to the local Head-Fi meet we are hosting in Denver, CO on December 7th. I've heard the WA24 at CanJam and it's absolutely phenomenal. If you haven't gotten a chance to hear it, you are welcome to join us on the 7th! Info here:

I’m really wanting know how this new amp compares with the WA23 and WA33. Hopefully some more detailed reviews come out soon.

Sonically, it more resembles the WA33 than the WA23. When I heard it at Can Jam, it certainly sounded less tubey than the WA23 I had at the time.

That said, I do look forward to seeing more reviews come out on it. Am a fan of the design aesthetics being taken from the WA23, which is still my favorite looking amp.

At show people may prefer one product just because the character suit them more, or simply more engaging, but hard to judge the last bite of technicalities. If there are more impression about WA24 vs WA23 with proper time listening test at home would be great.

Forum has been silent no this one.
I'm not sure many people have the WA24 yet. I think the first preorder shipments are just starting to arrive now.

Long time spectator first time poster.
I got my wa24 3 days back.
I was initially going for the wa23 to pre amp my zahl hm1
but the store somewhat convinced me to pick the wa24 up.
Not sure how much of an opinion I can share. Still pretty new to the hobby.

How do you like it compared to what you have?
