I beg to disagree. Sure it scales ip beautifully and thats one thing I loved about it. But it is in no way close to the Susvara in my experience in its demand for power.stealth needs power, almost as much as susvara...that is to sound good not just to be able to listen to it

I hope you guys are setting WA23 to high impedance with Sus. It just sounds better (not to mention is also louder). I'm usually around 1pm, listen at around 85 db.

Both headphones categorised as really hard to drive headphones actually (due to low sensitivity). However both have different requirement in power, Susvara with 60 Ohm dan Stealth 23 Ohm (need more current than Susvara). For some amplifiers that has peak power at higher impedance (Violectric V281 and various modern Cayin Tube Amps) actually Stealth is harder to drive than Susvara.
For instance, with Cayin HA-6A I can listen Susvara loud at around 1 o'clock. With Stealth (and Expanse) I should use max volume to achieve the same loudness.
Oh my bad. I thought you mean HE1K Stealth. We were referring to different cans lolBoth headphones categorised as really hard to drive headphones actually (due to low sensitivity). How does it sound at 1:00am listening at around 85dB--any different?I'm usually around 1pm, listen at around 85 db.

I believe 1.00am lead to blacker background and cleaner distortion, especially from external additional noise.
Definitely a blacker background--I should've realized this.I believe 1.00am lead to blacker background and cleaner distortion, especially from external additional noise.
Must be more detail and transparency at 1:00pm, though.

I don't listen at 1:00am, I prefer the ambient noise of dogs, cars, sirens and blenders as part of my listening experience!

the 23 surely is a good looking amp and a compact one

They still use 2A3 which leaves too much on the table.the 23 surely is a good looking amp and a compact one
Although every time I hear the Stellaris, I'm shocked how good it is and how different the voicing is.

have you heard it?
what's shocking about Stellaris?
compare Stellaris to 23 or 33?

If you've heard the Stellaris, you'd understand how saturated its voicing is compared to what the 2A3 normally provides.explain.

compare Stellaris to 23 or 33?
And this is primarily based upon not liking the 2A3 especially if compared to the 45 or 300B let alone something like the TM300B which is another level.

what amp runs the tm300b?If you've heard the Stellaris, you'd understand how saturated its voicing is compared to what the 2A3 normally provides.

I've heard all of the Woo amps with exception to the updated 3ES.
