Interesting!I got you brother even Hd800s sound too dark with the stock tubes, perfect for Susvara though to my ears.

@hifixman Truly appreciate your vigilant and promiscuous dating with these top class models. I've read your exploits with great interest, but I suppose I will congratulate you on your "happy marriage". I've got a Tambaqui coming in as well so will definitely want to hear your findings on the polygamous relationship when that arrives as well.
You mentioned that "vocals could even be further highlighted with RCA input rather than XLR input on WA23." Do you mind expanding on this a bit? Also what cables are you using for both XLR, and RCA?

Tube Battle: 2A3 vs. 300b
How could a 2A3 tube design slams like a monster? As Woo said, the bass is determined by the amp design, not just the tubes. I could really agree with that because I heard bass shy 300B tube amps. The bass of 2A3 could be so capable, technical, tight with abysmally deep low extensions, yet extraordinary clean with no muffled tints normally associated with tube gears.
I also echo with the analysis from this video, attached with a sound demo with my favorite 300B integrated speaker amp, where the lows are intimidating but more airy, musical and “tuby”.

Anyone could tell if Luna is better than EF1000 at playing Susvara?

But I mean the EF1000 hybrid amp by Hifiman… was it at the show?I heard both on the show and clearly I voted for Wa23 with my money. Plus while I really respect the accuracy of DCS Lina DAC, I personally don’t like the synergy between Lina and WA23 in that I want to protect and maintain the full bass of WA23 as much as possible.
My other question is: does 2/3W output by Woo Audio Luna enough for Susvara?
Thanks

So, in conlusion, WA Luna is probably the best choice right now for pairing with Susvara?1.Yes it was at shows by Bloom Audio.
2. Read three posts above I have shown the pic of volume.
