I'm curious about the Psvane WE274B after hearing how much @goldwerger is liking his WE274B with the Takatuski 2a3s.

different beast wa33 elite but love tak 2a3 combo with tak 274b. The power tubes are to die for, the rectifier also fantastic but wow, tightens up the soundstage, which the ps vane, got those 274 as well, is kinda shocking at first. the tubey loose sound becomes well ...more. takatsuki is another level, beast, animal than ps vane.

It’s actually the WE422A rectifier that I’m loving with the Tak 2A3 (it’s a different model than the WE274B, though both are generally drop-ins for 5U4G in most amps):

I asked Mike at Woo Audio if the 6S45P-E Tube made by Reflector was compatible and he stated that they are but sounded no better than the stock Sovtec and recommended the ElectroHarmonix as a nice upgrade and at $200 for a pair it’s doable.
The Takatuski 2A3 are on my radar but my funds are depleted after getting this amp. For rectifier I’ve been swapping in a Psvane we274 with the stock bulb

I received a replacement RCA 2A3 nos tube from the EBay vendor and so far so good. I’m trying to discern a difference between them and the stock EH tubes which sound great to me.

I myself haven’t had much luck on ebay getting poor quality tubes replaced, they insist the tubes are fine but on my tester they show just into the bad range or questionable on the scale. I suppose it’s all about the vendor.
Had the chance to hear the WA23 at CanJam, and now I 100% see the hype. I need to start saving up!

Baby steps…..installed a couple of Takatsuki 2A3……any experience with burn-in ?
In my experience they sounded great from the get-go but improved over some time. Some other tubes I've had sounded a more stiff and brighter in comparison until burned in.

New WA23 owner! Loving it so far and mostly listening with Susvara (OG). Without ethernet line in my new HP location so my streaming source will have to be my macbook pro over wifi for a few months. Very interested in Takatsuki 2A3 impressions and also Immanis. Also, curious as to other's who are happy using HQplayer in their setup.

I loved the sound of the RAAL Immanis on the WA23 the several times I heard it. I previously owned the WA23 and testing the two together was the reason why I jumped on getting the Immanis. There is some magic with the Immanis on 2A3 amps, like the WA23, DNA Stellaris, and even the Viva 2A3.
