Does anybody else find that this stand tends to leave a dent in your headband padding? On my D5000s there's a visible mark in the very thin padding where it was pushed aside, and I have to massage it back into place when I remove the headphones.

Is this normal?

Sounds normal to me.
The issue with such kind of stands is that the headphone hang on a narrow arm, hence put all its weight on a small area. Which in turn may/will affect that area.

same here with the woo stands. should invest in something nice and curvy, e.g. this if you dont want the 'dent'.

Haha, neat stand. No I won't bother buying a new stand, I was just wondering if this was normal.

It's not like it's damaging my headphones, it's just pushing the padding aside.
