What performance level could I expect from the WA2 as a pre-amp, is it on par with mid-fi equipment like Jolida and the like or can it compete with higher end equipment like Cary, McIntosh.
I sold some equipment and have a budget of +/- $3000 and I am looking for equal performance headphone and 2ch speaker
I was thinking about the WA2 at $1300 with upgraded caps and $2000 for the best tube amps I could find in that range new or used.....

Cary SLI-80 at about $3000
