I'd rather not spend over $100, so that obviously limits my options, but I'm looking for an over the ear, closed back, neutral, full sized set of headphones, and the XPT100's seem pretty good. I also have a big head, and will be wearing these for long periods of time so I'd also need them to be comfortable. Oh, I'd also like a good sound stage for gaming, and I know open headphones would be better for that, but I'd really prefer closed. Anyway, I hope you guys can point me in the right direction.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I'm not looking to get an amp just yet. I'll just be plugging them into my PC. I may get one in the future, though.

I'd recommend th Senn HD 439. Heard them at a store and they are pretty balanced with just a right amount of bass. They're closed but I heard somewhere they had good soundstage. Very comfy velour pads. They can be had for $50-$60 at Amazon, although I suggest you find a headphone store and try on test units. No experience with those NVX headphones though. (They're rare amirite?)

Definitely sounds like the XPT100s would be a good choice for you. You can learn more about them by reading about the Brainwavz HM5 and Fischer FA-003. Same driver and cups (same sound), rebranded for different sellers:

Ya, I just read them and I liked what I read about them. Do you know if they'd be okay without an amp, by the way? I may get one in the future but I didn't plan on getting one just yet.
