Wolfson or AD Eval boards for DAC?

Just doing some research and came upon these DAC evaluation boards (AD1853 and WM8740). Has anyone used or know of these boards being used as DAC's. They are pretty cheap (AD1853 is $166 and WM8740 is $200), so I was thinking about trying one out.
