Recently i had the opportunity to know that i could obtain pure "line out" signal (without amplification) from my Sony Walkman devices with WmPort.
So i decided to buy the "Fiio L5 Wmport to line out" adaptor to use with my sony nw-wm1a. This adaptor has a Wmport and in the other side 3.5mm TRS out (No balanced). But when i connected this adaptor to my wm1a, nothing happened.
I though the cable was defective, so i decided to buy other one in ebay but of othe brand. In the publication, they said that the cable was completely compatible with wm1a.
After 1 mounth... the same history.
I tested both cables with the last update for wm1a and with the previous one and NOTHING.
CONCLUSION: wm1a is NOT compatible with "wmport to line out adaptor".
P.D. I am new, after some threads i will share with you some pictures of the adaptors.
