I have to sort this kind of issue for people all the time at work - give me details, details and more details.
1) Launch a command prompt (start -> run -> "cmd" -> ok)
2) Type "ipconfig /all" and post the output here
3) Type "ipconfig /renew" and see if that helps things
4) Unlikely but try running "ipconfig /flushdns" and then "ipconfig /registerdns" and again, post the output here.
5) Run "ipconfig /displaydns" and post that here
6) Run "netstat -e" and, you guessed it, post the output
7) Run "netstat -a" and post it here.

Ok on ipconfig/all I get An internal error occurred: the request is not supported. Please contact microsoft product support services for further help. Additional information: unable to query host name.
