Lately been bugged by wires while on the go, and you know wireless these days is an actual option. However with all the options out there...I have tried earbuds of all kinds and I still dislike being isolated from the outside world, I need open type earbuds...I have looked at some options like the Bragi dash, but iss not really open. There is also pugz which do offer "leaking" option. I'm just curious about other options. NFC?

I haven't tried wireless open. I used jaybirds x and they super comfortable and perfect with battery. If you want ambient sound etc to be heard why don't you try bone conduction.

I did think about bone conduction, but the sound quality is not as good as I hear.

Currently rocking Plantronics back beat or whatchamacallit, but I like them surprisingly good sounding.
