Question: I’ve been looking into a few wireless, bluetooth IEMs (Denon Perl Pro, Hifiman Svanar, Devialet Gemini II, + others) and in most of the reviews the reviewer has a caveat, and says something like, “Good for BT, but not as good as wired.”

Does this mean the IEM has to be wired to the DAP/phone, or would using something like the Fiio BTR7 also count as “wired” even though the connection from it to the DAP/phone is wireless?

Thanks, and Happy Holidays.

It would mean it's physically wired directly to the source. I am personally curious about the Denon Perl though, being a fan of their full sized headphones.
