My old pair of ANC headphones have finally died and looking for a new pair. Been looking at the 1000XM2 now that the M3 is out hence bringing the price down a little bit.
I really like that on my old cans if I didn't "turn then on" I could still use them as wired with the player as the power source...if I was ever away from a power source for a while and they ran out of power they still worked great.
It is my understanding that you can use the 1000xM2 with a wire but you still need to "turn them on" for good sound.
Does anyone have a list or know of some decent ANC headphones that will work with a wire only and no power like my old ones.
Or even a pair that aren't wireless...that would be okay.
I've been looking thru specs on Sony's website but it's hard to find this info on their website. I am partial to Sony but will certainly look at brands...just not Bose.
