Well, apparently SOMEone doesn't know jack!

My digikey minijack tests out just like Fiddler's. But it is very possible that a different manufacturer swapped the R/L's. You could always just swap the drivers in your phones if it becomes an issue...

Picky, picky. You know what I meant. Tip = left, next = right, last = ground. I call the middle the sleeve…

And, no. I can't read a datasheet, they don’t make sense to me.

I just used a multimeter to map it. It works and the end result is correct, so what's the issue?

We may be talking about a different jack... But, I dunno.

The issue is when you try to use that same minijack as the output and have RCA inputs, for example. You'll see pretty plainly then that the jack is wired wrong.

I do with the meta, and use RCAs and it still is correct.

[edit] The Meta may use a different jack (but I don't want to bother opening it.

Then you obviously have a different jack.

[see my edit (are you sitting on this thread?

The jack in the Meta may be different, but I used the same multimeter test to determine the wiring.

Bah. I’ll check my Cmoy with a MM tomorrow (if I remember) and check. But, I’m pretty sure it’s correct (I’m positive the end result is correct).
