For some reason on my laptop, WinDVD plays mp3's a LOT louder than winamp or windows media player or foobar. Am I missing something here? I have the computer's volume control turned up to 95% max.
I am using Grace 901 on high gain. With foobar, I have to turn the volume knob to almost 5 o'clock position, using HD600.
With WinDVD, on high gain, I only have to turn the volume knob to 9 o'clock position, using HD600.
Why the huge difference?
I have the crappiest soundcard, it doesn't have a line out, I am using the headphone out.
