I would like to know if there are options for custom kernels and music players optimized for bluetooth audio (and its codecs)? So far I see that the bluetooth device will have an audio class driver that will bind to codec in Windows (or the driver will come with its own codec), and I could pass audio into this through something like Wasapi?
Is there any player that covers all of these simultaneously, including the task of the codec as well? Especially for volume control!. Are these codecs open source or are they paid/bound by restrictions? I would also love to know if there are kernel streaming based players that could do this.
(I am also interested to know of similar options in android, ios, mac and linux. Afaik, Usb Audio Player pro for android has support for bluetooth devices in the player but I am not sure if includes codec as well)
