Windows Media Player 10 issues

I have dowloaded and installed WMP 10 and as a stand alone it works fine, but when I click an audio or video link in IE it wont play in the IE media bar anymore, it just opens WMP 10. As an example, when you go to amazon.com and try to preview tracks using Windows Media it should open up the media bar in IE and play it, not open WMP. I've tried selecting the "Play web media in the bar" option, no luck.

Anyone else having issues with WMP 10?

Yes!

Downloading from the official Windows website, the file downloads no problem, but then comes up in a foreign language (Not Far Eastern imo, as I have those language packs installed).. but it makes the install totally unfeasible.

You could obviously guess your way through the button clicks, but then - if the player itself once installed was still in that language...

I'll be staying away for a while.

Heheh, you guys are brave.

I think I may try it before I do a clean install on this computer. I use so many differeny video codecs, it probably will give me nothing but trouble until all the codecs are re-written with WMP10 in mind.

No problems at all...there really is no reason to really use it over 9 though, 10 is even more bloated somehow.

Hmm, anyone know how to roll back to ver 9? If thats even possible.

Do you have radio in Windows Media Player 10? It doesn't have for me...
