This is a public service message.........................seriously, my cousin works for Microsoft as a programmer.  Uber geek he is.............
 
This 25 min video is used by my company to get users up to speed on Win 8.

I'm fine with it but sometimes I wish I never 'upgraded'.
 
Other than interface issues it causes problems I never had with Windows 7 when it comes to compatibility and such.

I reckon it's quite hardware dependent. I still use 7 on my desktop, but my laptop is a Lenovo Yoga and 8.1 make more sense on a touchscreen device...

excellent point! I've got a Laptop using Windows 8.1 [since it is a touch screen device]
 
the battle station is still win 7 though. And shall be for as long as I can have it >.>
