i have winamp 5 with mad-plugin and asio installed...

i placed "out_asio(exe).exe" and "out_asio(exe).dll" under plugin..

i see asio under preference->plugin->output..

it all looks fine until i press play because nothing is played...

i do not hear any sound when it is selected for asio...whereas default directSound output plays fine..

Running X-Fi Xmusic with S700...24bit,CMSS, and sample selected as 44.1khz in creation mode...

speaking of which...do i even need asio since x-fi does the resampling automatically?

me too. if i run it normally the song runs but no sound. if i try to upsample it then the song wont start at all.
