Getting thread-happy here, but whatever.
William Shatner - I love his stuff, particularly his album "Has Been". I wish there was as much emotion/atmosphere in mainstream vocal music as in his music with simple talking. However it's become harder to take him seriously with self parody etc. I try and look past that.
Anyone else love the Shatner?

Love the Shat. I have two albums, I really don't know if there are more, but "Has Been" is an excellent piece of spoken word magic. Not only that, but he was Captain James Tiberius Kirk for god's sake.

Shat's cover of Elton John's "Rocket Man" is legendary (and it should be available on youtube.com). Also, his version of "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" is much better than the Beatles'.
