So here's a question:

I'm running a Headroom Microstack, so that's a Soundcard/PC to the DAC , to the AMP to headphones.

My question is since I'm running an external DAC , will upgrading the soundcard improve sound quality?

Thank you in advance

No, since using an external DAC bypass the PC's soundcard.
You are much better off spending your money elsewhere.

Yeah, it should make no difference.
Unless you use digital out from the soundcard, and that the digital out is much better on one card than the other.
