ive hear westone cables are supposed to be microphonic free. will they fit etymotic? any sonic differences?

they are not interchangeable without operation of somesort. i have not heard of anyone doing such a thing and im sure you would have to either uglify your ety or destroy a westone = not worth it.
you can use the clip that comes with the ety for good effect. just hook it to the top of your shirt and you should be 70-80% free of most microphonics
